September 16, 2006

9.16.06 ~ On the way to the football games in Erin. Benji is sporting his denim hat while buckled safely in his carseat and Josh is next to him just waiting for the car ride to be over so he can get out and play.

Chaos

We have moved and we are alowly getting settled in. I am a bit concerned since the dedication ceremony is on the 16th. Things are so up in the air right now. Trying to figure out where to put what. Figuring out what will go in the massive yard sale that we will have and then figuring out what goes in storage. I need a home organizer big time. I know in a couple of months this will seem miniscule... especially considering the way I decorate for the winter holidays. (Large and in charge)

I am happy to be in our own home though. It is ours and what we do is what we do. Double the house of what we used to be in too... WOW!

In other news, Josh started HeadStart this past Tuesday. He is having some difficulty adjusting. He don't want to follow the rules and he don't like the consequences either. I am really hoping he adjusts, I am enjoying the calmness in the house for 6 hours a day. Sure Micah and Benji are here and being silly and such, but they get along for the most part. But even when they don't, it's just different. I am hoping it's just that Josh is the third wheel and nothing else. It just seems to be that he is the one that starts fights and then can't finish them and starts up with the crying. *sigh*

Benji will be getting fitted for foot supports/braces in the next month. Susan came out and did an evaluation 2 weeks ago and said that while it won't fix his flat footedness, it will help align his feet and put less stress on the joints in the ankle, knee, hip, and back. (Hey, if shoes inserts/supports would fix my back I would go for it in a heart beat.) So we have to wait for the insurance to deny/approve and then he will be fitted and everything. We figure before Christmas.

Other than that Kimmie and Britt are doing Cheerleading with the Bombers again this year. That ties up all of our Saturdays and pretty much our evenings too with their practice. It's fun but lots of work too. This year me and Jeff have decided I will stay home for the games and keep the boys and Allie to a resemblance of a schedule. That is unless we can get somebody to watch them and I go to the games. I've already got mom ready to watch the kiddos the day of competition. It's just too hectic to take them since everybody wants to run every which way.

So, I am off to work on the unpacking and such. Just a quick drop in and post. I pray all who read are being blessed. Oh wait! I forgot a wonderful blessing! The day we closed on the house that God has given us, we also were blessed with a 99 Expedition. God has provided for us wonderfully! Praise the Lord!!
